Long Time Coming

I know it has been FOREVER since we have posted anything, so here we are. Just a little update on what's new with us.

The gym that I will be managing is delayed in the construction progress again. Now it looks like we will not be able to open until the end of March or first week in April. I am not happy about this, but it will be worth the extra wait. The second story that we are putting in is made of steel by a steel company and it is shipped to us in pieces so we can install it. Well, they had the wrong dimensions on the original drawings of the design, so they had to go back and start from scratch. We should be receiving the second story at the end of the month however it will take a few weeks to install and finish. So in the meantime I am still stuck in this presale office selling memberships. It's a little boring at times, but I get over it. Here are some 3-D renderings of what the club is going to look like. Just a little background: we hired a club designer to make this place look like a spa rather than a health club. He is award winning and is going to make the club look beautiful.











Enough with the bad news, Garrett and I are headed back to Disneyland. We just booked today for March 13-15th. We want to get away for a quick trip before my club opens and my free time is consumed. The best part is that we don't have to wait that long, we leave in 25 days. WOO HOO! We were there 2 years ago in March and last year in February, so I guess it is meant to be that we are going. We love that place. Happiest place on earth right? I'm sure you all remember our engagement that happened on our trip last year =) We are just two really big kids.

Garrett's birthday (27) is coming up on the 5th of March. We are not doing much because of the vacation we are taking the following week, but we are thinking about having people over for dinner on Friday, March 6th or Sunday, March 8th for anyone would like to come. We can't do Saturday the 7th because I am sure most of the family will be attending the Italian dinner. Anyways, I will keep you everyone posted on that. Also we have another big birthday coming up in March. Casey turns 3 on March 12th. I swear someone mixed up her papers though because she acts like she is 6 months old still. She steals everything and anything possible. She likes shoes and hats the most!

Of course you know I can't resist posting pictures of the babies. Here is a funny one to show you. This was one morning that they woke me up around 5am for their food. After they eat they usually go back to sleep. I was on the other couch watching TV and this is them. Quite comfortable huh? I sure hope no one else wants to sit down =) Sorry the picture quality is so bad. My new cell phone has the worst camera possible. It has no flash so it really limits my picture taking which you should all know is not a good thing. The other capabilities it has outweighs the bad camera though.
