Our little guy turned 8 today. He had a spoiled day full of new toys, treats, tennis ball, and walks (all his favorite things). I got Rusty when he was 5 and it has been the best 3 years of my life.

I know it has been forever since I have posted anything, so I figured I better get on the ball. Well, yesterday Garrett and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary. It was pretty low key, but we did like the fact it fell on Labor Day weekend because we got an extra day to our weekend. We spent the morning/afternoon in downtown Seattle. It was raining all morning, but we decided to go anyway. Actually after we got there it cleared up for a couple of hours, so it worked out perfect! At night we met my cousin Jamie and her husband Jason at the new Snoqualmie Casino. We had a great dinner at their buffet restaurant. It was king crab night so Garret was in heaven! All-in-all it was a great day and I can't believe how fast the year went by. I also can't believe the difference in the weather 1 year ago today. We sure lucked out last year with the weather.
