This is so funny, I saw it on one of my fellow blogger's site and I couldn't resist posting it. I can't imagine any one of my 3 labs playing with a deer this way. Rusty.....would just ignore it and stay next to me. Lola would be scared and run away from it. And Casey might play with it, but more than likely would try to attack it!
Enjoy! :)

Go Garrett!!
This past Saturday Garrett competed in his 4th bodybuilding competition in Vancouver, WA. This time he weighed-in at 195 which put him in the light-heavy weight class (usually the toughest competition at any show). And it was....he competed against some great looking athletes. After a very long, 24 hour day we were finally home and the 16 weeks of contest prep are over. He has decided to take a couple weeks off of working out and is enjoying it. Here are the videos of each time he was on stage for those of you who couldn't make it down there! (if these videos do not show up in the copy you get by email, you may have to go to the actual blog to view).

OMG....FREE TIME!!
I started my new job with Mediability on Monday and I LOVE IT. My bosses are super fun, hard-working business women! We met on Monday and they gave me the ins-and-outs of the company as well as my projects for the week. My job as an Account Coordinator is to assist with research and media buying for our clients. My first project this week was to research media options for Varenna at Fountaingrove (very affluent retirement community in Santa Rosa, CA). They are part of Aegis Living (retirement, assisted living, memory care facilities. You may have heard of them....many throughout Washington). But anyways....Varenna is one of their luxury resorts. The buy-ins for these resorts run anywhere from (300,000- 1.1 million). Then on top of that residents pay between (1,500-2,500 per month) just to live there. So my job this week was to research media options that will target the affluent senior audience they are looking for. They have crazy high advertising budgets too, which is unreal. After my research was complete I had to develop a recommended print schedule to send off the Varenna for approval. Once they approve the schedule, then we start bookings ads. That's basically a big portion of my job. We don't do the ad creative work, we just research, suggest, and buy! It is to a companies benefit to have media buyers because we can get lower rates for them making the prices no different than if they did all the work on their own. And that's just it...we do all the work for them.
Not to bore you with details....just trying to give you a better idea of the things I will be doing for my new job. One of my next projects I will be taking on is media work for Petsmart Charities. They are a non-profit organization who encourage spay/neuter in high euthanized areas, which is something I am very passionate about. I am very excited to start this project in April.
As I said before I am still working at the gym, but only 18-20 hours per week. This week has definitely been a huge transition week there.....I am getting called frequently. I am sure it will calm down soon and I will be able to settle into a schedule. I am so excited that today.....I actually have had FREE TIME. I seriously have not known what that feels like for a long time. I got all my work done, laundry, dishes, a workout, and I still have time left in my day!! It's a sunny day so I am waiting for Garrett to come home and we are going on a long walk with the babies. I LOVE MY NEW SCHEDULE!!
The babies are another thing. They LOVE me being home. Rusty lays be me the whole day. They especially love when I keep the back door open and they can lay outside in the sun. They still think they have to jump up every time I get up from my desk....but I am sure they will get into more of a routine soon. I keep having to remind them I am working right now and that's why they are not getting my full attention :-)
Besides the new job we are only 9 days away from Garrett's show....Thank God! We are both ready for it to be over. It's been a long dieting/workout process. It will be nice not to have to plan everywhere we go by his eating schedule!
Have a great weekend everyone! ENJOY THE SUN!

Casey Turns 4
Casey turned 4 yesterday. I keep telling her that turning 4 means she needs to act like a big girl....but so far she isn't listening. At four years old she still has the energy of a 1 year old. I know you guys probably get tired of seeing so many pictures of the dogs...but here are some pictures from her birthday party last night.
A new toy
Another new toy
Her birthday cheesecake
Eating the birthday cheesecake (they only had a little slice, not the whole thing)
Lola watching The Dog Wisperer Cesar Millan
Casey watches too!
WOW...what a day! I'm pooped!
