The Flood

It's pretty crazy how much rain we have had in the last couple of days. Although we are fortunate that we are not flooded like some areas in the state, it was still pretty amazing how much standing water we have in our yard. Half of our backyard is flooded. Only a few inches deep, but it is still crazy. How do we go from all that snow with freezing temperatures to floods and 50 degrees? Weird!!! Anyways, the back yard puddle is so annoying because little miss Casey loves playing in it so much, while Rusty and Lola completely try to avoid it. I can't get Casey out of the water to come inside. Instead she stays outside running around in it while getting completely soaked. Even though we just adopted her, I can already tell she is going to love the lake in the summer =)






The front yard has a ditch where water runs. It is a little flooded as well, but not too bad.
