We are back from our weekend trip to Disneyland. It was an exhausting 3 days, but very fun. On Friday, we were up at 3:30am on Friday to catch our 6am flight. We landed around 9:30am, but when we got to our hotel they did not have any rooms available yet. We had to check our baggage and then we were off to the park. Friday the crowds were heavy, but not too bad. We headed into Disneyland first and we were able to get quite a bit accomplished. We went strong till about 10:30pm when we finally went back to the room to sleep. Long day :)
Saturday morning we had the magic morning passes where we were able to get in the park an hour before they open. We were up at 6am and in the park by 7am. During the first couple hours it wasn't very busy so we were able to get a lot of stuff done then too. This is how we got our picture in front of the castle and there was no one there (see pictures below). But by Saturday afternoon it was so crazy busy, we just ended up walking around most of the time. We couldn't do any rides unless you did a fast pass or you wanted to wait an hour. Although we did not do as many rides, we had a great time walking around, people watching, and eating at some great restaurants. Saturday night we stayed at the park to watch the fireworks show then headed back to our room around 11pm.
We decided to take an early flight home on Sunday since the park was so busy and we had already done so many of the rides. Our flight was 8am on Sunday so again we were up early and headed to the airport. When we got home, we were so exhausted, we spend all day Sunday on the couches sleeping and watching movies, it was so great!! It was a short trip, but always great to get away no matter how short the time is. The best part of the trip was leaving this ugly Seattle weather and heading down to flip flop weather!!! We actually saw SUN =)
Enjoy the pictures. We didn't take as many this time around. I hate always having to ask people to take our photo.
I can't believe the proposal was only 1 year ago.
This was new since the last time we were there. It was at the beginning of Main Street in Disneyland.
At the main entrance of Disneyland
Right after the raft ride in California Adventure. I got absolutely soaked because I was on the end at the opening of the raft.
With Goofy, and still soaked from the ride.
Drinks at Tortilla Joes in Downtown Disney. Yes that's right, Garrett has the fruity margarita and I am drinking the rum !! LOL
At night in California Adventure
Just taking a break

In line for Toy Story in California Adventure
This didn't turn out so well (kinda blury and dark), but our idea was to take a picutre with the "C" for Cornatzer!
Garrett mesmerized at the magician in Downtown Disney. For those of you who don't know, Garrett totally believes in Magic. We had to stop by this guy every time we walked through Downtown, LOL
Another castle picture, even though you can't really see the castle!
This was the funniest thing that happened the whole trip. In California Adventure we have never been into the Bug's Life section which a lot like Fantasy land in Disneyland; rides for little kids. Well we decided to see what it was all about. So we saw this bumper car ride. There was no one there, so we decided to give it a try. We had NO IDEA that they barely move. As soon as the ride started, Garrett and I looked at each other and just started cracking up. Garrett asked the lady working the ride "is this as fast as it goes?" She laughed and said "yes!" It was absolutely hilarious. We laughed so hard the whole time. I was completely crying!!
In California Adventure they are doing some construction, so they have these construction walls up that say "pardon our pixie dust." This part of the wall said "Mouse at work!"
Not sure where this was :)
These cars go much faster. Autopia, in Disneyland

And finally....I used the video recording on my digital camera to record Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. It was hard to stay still, I did the best I could.
ON TO BIRTHDAYS.....
We had family over for Garrett's birthday on the Sunday before we left for our trip. Here is a picture with him and his cake.
Then the day before we left for Disneyland was Casey's 3rd birthday. As I have mentioned before, she acts like she is 6 months old, so if I didn't have her papers I would never believe she just turned three years old. She is definitely a spunky girl. Even though she has a basket of toys, she loves chewing on shoes and pulling the covers off of me while I am trying to sleep in the morning :) Here are some pictures from her birthday!
One of her new toys, she loved it!
RIP new toy. I think it lasted for roughly 10 minutes!!

We're still alive!
